SCHEDULING YOUR APPOINTMENT

While we will always do our best to accommodate your last minute needs, we recommend that you schedule your appointments as far in advance as possible to ensure you get a date and time that works for your schedule.

We try to stay on time and truly value your time, but emergencies do occur that alter our schedule. Feel free to call our office 30 minutes prior to your appointment to see how we are running.

Many of our noninvasive procedures can be done at the time of your consultation. However, some do require advance planning or special appointments. Please call our clinical staff to see if your procedure can be done at your consultation.

And do review the pre and post treatment guidelines for your procedure at least a week in advance – we will cancel your procedure if you have any contraindications.

THE COSMETIC CONSULTATION

To paraphrase the Spice Girls, ‘Tell us what you want, what you really really want’. The consultation is not the time to be embarrassed or silent. Tell us:

  • What do you see when you look in the mirror? Is it the same as other people see when they look at you?

  • Is your primary concern sagging and folds, dark circles, fine lines, discoloration, areas of fat, or some of each?

  • Are you trying to get ready for a special event or is it just time for some maintenance and rejuvenation?

  • And please let us know your parameters. Patients vary in how conservative they want to be cosmetically, medically and financially. I often tell people we can accomplish the same goals in 2 visits as in 2 years. So please communicate with us.

THE PROCEDURE APPOINTMENT

Each procedure is different and has it’s own set of instructions for preparation and for post treatment care. Instructions can be accessed through our patient portal. And our nurses are available by phone to answer your questions. We believe an educated patient will be the happiest patient.

THE FOLLOW UP APPOINTMENT

We want to know how you are doing and make sure that you are happy with your results. First time patients having a procedure and some long time patients will be asked to make a follow up appointment after a specified period so that Dr Waldorf will be able to review your before and after photos and discuss your results and future plans with you. If you have any questions before your scheduled follow up or if you have concerns at any time, please call our office and ask to speak with our clinical staff. There are no silly questions and you are never bothering us. They will discuss your case with Dr Waldorf and make sure you get in to see her! After hours and on weekends, Dr Waldorf or a covering physician is available. for emergencies.
