For several years I have been on the scientific advisory committee for the Vegas Cosmetic Surgery Conference, which was the first multi-disciplinary cosmetic surgery meeting in the United States. Dermatologists, plastic surgeons, facial plastic surgeons, oculoplastic surgeons and industry members come together to teach and learn from each other. I started with a live demonstration to an audience of 200 of the Silhouette Instalift procedure then gave a master course on ’10 essential steps to beautiful skin at 40.’ I joined a number of medical advisory boards regarding exciting new products and training techniques in development. And, of course, one of the greatest part about traveling and teaching is getting to see dear friends and colleagues.
